Een Reis van Artistieke Zelfontdekking

Deze collectieve tentoonstelling brengt twee getalenteerde kunstenaars samen, Yma Sumac Gonzales en Özlem Nurver, die het thema zelfontdekking verkennen door hun unieke artistieke perspectieven. "Mezelf Vinden" nodigt bezoekers uit om getuige te zijn van hun persoonlijke reizen door innerlijke werelden, herinneringen en creatieve impulsen.

Yma Sumac Gonzales
Yma, een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar uit Lima, Peru, presenteert een divers oeuvre dat schilderkunst, keramiek, illustratie, fotografie en modeontwerp omvat. In "Mezelf Vinden" onderzoekt ze diep persoonlijke thema’s en creëert ze werk dat haar fascinaties, heilige herinneringen en hedendaagse ervaringen verbindt. Haar achtergrond in Grafisch Ontwerp en haar studies aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht versterken haar multiculturele perspectief en evoluerende artistieke identiteit.

Özlem Nurver
Özlem, een Turkse kunstenaar die onlangs naar Nederland is verhuisd, brengt een fris perspectief naar de tentoonstelling. Met meer dan twintig jaar ervaring als grafisch ontwerper richt ze zich nu op schilderen om zich artistiek uit te drukken. Haar werk, met name portretten en afbeeldingen van de menselijke vorm, legt de essentie en emoties van haar onderwerpen vast. Ze gebruikt levendige kleuren en rijke texturen om de uniciteit van elk individu te tonen.

Beide kunstenaars nodigen bezoekers uit om getuige te zijn van hun artistieke evolutie en persoonlijke groei, en laten zien hoe creatieve zelfexploratie transformeert.

Yma Sumac Gonzales
Yma, a multidisciplinary artist from Lima, Peru, presents a diverse body of work including painting, ceramics, illustration, photography, and fashion design. In "Finding Myself" she explores deeply personal themes, creating work that bridges her fascinations, sacred memories, and present-day experiences. Her background in Graphic Design and studies at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht strengthen her multicultural perspective and evolving artistic identity.

Özlem Nurver
Özlem, a Turkish artist who recently moved to the Netherlands, brings a fresh perspective to the exhibition. With over twenty years of experience as a graphic designer, she now focuses on painting for artistic expression. Her work, especially portraits and human forms, captures the essence and emotions of her subjects. She uses vibrant colors and rich textures to show each individual’s uniqueness.

Both artists invite viewers to witness their artistic evolution and personal growth, showing how creative self-exploration can be transformative.
