Een Reis van Artistieke Zelfontdekking

Deze collectieve tentoonstelling brengt twee getalenteerde kunstenaars samen, Yma Sumac Gonzales en Özlem Nurver, terwijl ze het thema zelfontdekking verkennen door hun unieke artistieke perspectieven. "Mezelf Vinden" nodigt bezoekers uit om getuige te zijn van de persoonlijke reizen van deze kunstenaars terwijl ze navigeren door hun innerlijke werelden, herinneringen en creatieve impulsen.

Yma Sumac Gonzales
Yma, een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar uit Lima, Peru, presenteert een boeiend oeuvre dat verschillende creatieve disciplines omvat. Haar artistieke reis heeft haar ertoe gebracht schilderkunst, keramiek, illustratie, fotografie en modeontwerp te verkennen, wat resulteert in een rijk en divers portfolio.

In "Mezelf Vinden" duikt Yma in een diep persoonlijke verkenning, op zoek naar een toevluchtsoord voor haar diepste gedachten en ervaringen. Haar werk dient als een brug tussen haar fascinaties, heilige herinneringen en hedendaagse ervaringen. Voortbouwend op haar achtergrond in Grafisch Ontwerp en haar studies aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, creëert Yma werken die haar multiculturele perspectief en evoluerende artistieke identiteit weerspiegelen.

Özlem Nurver
Özlem, een Turkse kunstenaar die onlangs naar Nederland is verhuisd, brengt een fris en evoluerend perspectief naar de tentoonstelling. Met meer dan twee decennia ervaring als grafisch ontwerper heeft Özlem haar focus nu verlegd naar schilderen als middel van artistieke expressie.

Özlem bijdragen aan "Mezelf Vinden" tonen haar voortdurende reis van zelfontdekking in het domein van de schone kunsten. Haar werken, met name haar portretten en afbeeldingen van de menselijke vorm, onthullen een scherpe interesse in het vastleggen van de essentie en emoties van haar onderwerpen. In plaats van zich te houden aan strikt realisme, gebruikt Nurver levendige kleuren en rijke texturen om de uniciteit van elk individu dat ze portretteert over te brengen.

Door middel van deze tentoonstelling nodigen beide kunstenaars bezoekers uit om getuige te zijn van hun artistieke evolutie en persoonlijke groei, en bieden ze een blik op de transformerende kracht van creatieve zelfexploratie.

Özlem Nurver
Özlem Nurver, a Turkish artist who recently relocated to the Netherlands, brings a fresh and evolving perspective to the exhibition. With over two decades of experience as a graphic designer, Nurver has now turned her focus to painting as a means of artistic expression.

Özlem's contributions to "Finding Myself" showcase her ongoing journey of self-discovery in the realm of fine art. Her works, particularly her portraits and depictions of the human form, reveal a keen interest in capturing the essence and emotions of her subjects. Rather than adhering to strict realism, Nurver employs vibrant colors and rich textures to convey the uniqueness of each individual she portrays.
