Lama Aldayoub
Meet the artist

Lama Aldayoub is a Syrian multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice bridges
visual arts, storytelling, theatre, conceptual art, new media, and design. Through her artistic
identity, Studio 13th Persona, Lama embraces experimentation and creative rebellion,
combining traditional and digital techniques to develop immersive concepts and emotionally
charged artworks.
Her work explores modern social tensions and challenges conventional norms, reflecting a
deeply inquisitive and fearless perspective. With a visual language rooted in abstraction,
digital collage, layered textures, and bold contrasts of color, Lama creates pieces that invite
viewers into intimate and often unspoken dimensions of human experience. Her digital
series, including Anatomy of Physical Pain and Irregular Fantasies, exemplify her ability
to translate psychological depth and raw emotion into compelling visual narratives.
Whether digital or physical, Lama’s practice is driven by emotional honesty, vulnerability, and
a constant desire to investigate the unknown. Beyond her independent artistic career, she is
also the co-founder of GlitcheyTV, Tutti & Co, and Kijke in de keuken.
Lama has exhibited internationally at events and platforms including Museum Night
Amsterdam, Dutch Design Week, La Mostra Audiovisual, and VAD Art.
Persona Limitless, her first solo exhibition, presents a curated journey through Studio 13th
Persona, featuring works from past and ongoing series alongside newly developed pieces
that introduce audiences to the essence of her artistic vision.
